In the final stages of comparing and finalizing both the hardware and plug-in from @brainworxaudio

The HG-Q is indeed FULLY ANALOG with digital controls.

- Fully independent boost and cut circuits on each band (frequency, Q and filter mode, not just gain). That means that what looks like 3 bands per channel is actually 3 boost and 3 cut!

- Cuts are solid state

- Boosts are tube

- Additional tube saturation stage with full mix control on each band, as part of the boost.

- Series or parallel mode for cut and boost

- .5db steps for 8db of gain or 1db steps in 2X mode for 16

- Stereo / Dual mono / MS modes

- Auto calibration of the tubes with extreme precision, on startup or on demand.

Maybe most exciting is that we’ve teamed up with Brainworx to rethink how hardware and plugins work together and we’ve changed workflow forever!

Full pre production units should be arriving around April (with our new, custom machined aluminum knobs!) with a full release of photos and details.
